“Mudslinger Studios is truly amazing. Julie is not just an incredible pottery instructor. She has created a community around the studio and it feels like home every time I go.”

“I have taken multiple classes from Julie, most recently the 6-week and 8-week classes. I had plenty of clay to work with and also had help when needed.  Julie is a knowledgeable teacher and the atmosphere is fun, relaxing and, at the same time, an effective learning environment. I’ll be signing up again!”

“The 6-week class I took with Julie was my favorite ever! The space is lovely, Julie is very knowledgeable and a great teacher, and the set-up was the perfect blend of instruction and free reign to create as you please. The class was the perfect way to get creative during the winter when I would otherwise be cooped up inside! I would highly recommend to anyone, whether you have clay experience or not!”

“My experience of Mudslinger Studios was first rate! Julie (The Mudslinger) is professional yet warm. Having a background in teaching ,art and clay, she has fine tuned her skill at offering just the right amount of instruction and support to facilitate the creative process, making the experience feel safe, empowering and deeply fulfilling. Mudslinger Studios is an inviting creative space to learn and experiment. Julie is dedicated to tailoring the experience to meet individual needs and goals, and also fosters a camaraderie in the studio which contributes to an overall fun and unique experience. You can’t wait to get back to class! I love being in this studio!”

My partner and I LOVED our class with you! Your ability to accommodate different skill levels and keep a fun and approachable environment was incredible. I would highly recommend your classes to anyone from beginners to experienced potters/ceramicists looking for a creative outlet. We had so much fun 🙂
