Learn to Throw on the Potter’s Wheel Workshop

Participants will learn the steps to throw a cylinder on the potter’s wheel, from centering and pulling walls, to finishing the rim. The workshop is designed for people who have never tried the wheel and no work will be saved.

This workshop is limited to three adults. We will work for about two hours and the cost is $210 per person.

Mudslinger Studios general information

All Mudslinger workshops accommodate a maximum of five adult students. I provide aprons and smocks but suggest participants avoid wearing precious clothing and leave jewelry at home. The Chief Mudslinger, Julie Engler, has been teaching adults pottery for nearly 20 years and has advanced degrees in both fine art and education. Despite this, participants are guaranteed a good time in the Mudslinger studios.
