NEW Handmade holiday session
Let’s meet for the first three Thursdays in November, from 5-8 p.m. to make gifts. Take Thanksgiving off and come back on Dec. 3 to glaze. Your work will be fired and ready by Dec. 17.
$210 for clay, glaze, firing, tools, instruction and a lovely atmosphere.
The Mudslinger offers seven-week-long sessions beginning in October.
The seven-week format will continue through the winter and includes five weeks of working with clay, one week off for firing, and one session to glaze. We will arrange a time if a second session is needed to finish glazing. Artists will pick up their work a couple week after the last meeting.
The way sessions work: I help you make what you want to make. If you are new to the wheel, I can teach you. If you are working on the wheel, I can help you improve. If you are a handbuilder (a person who makes things of clay without the wheel), I can advise you on ways to make what you’d like to make. Come with ideas for projects.These are not “do what I do” sorts of sessions, but if you’d like that kind of thing, let me know and I’ll craft something just for you. No problem.
A seven-week session costs $310 and includes everything you need: clay, glaze, firings, tools, encouragements, a peaceful, positive atmosphere.
